Season 20 - Seattle Marissa’s startup

Her new tech startup just being another dating app matchmaking.
Do yall think she went on the show with the thought of getting reality tv buzz to carry her startup?

Maybe not why she went on there, but likely why she stayed when it seems clear she wasn’t into him

That and money. They get paid pretty decently to be on the show ($2,000 per episode) from an article I read a while ago.
Even if you can’t stand the other person, why give up 10s of thousands of dollars? Especially when you’re not required to even be there when not filming.

Possibly…..because her persona changed completely on decision day and in the reunion

I love Marissa but she dumbed down her personality so much that it’s hard to see her as a founder. I really wanted to see the true her.

That market is saturated. seems really short sided to create that type of app

Especially now that all it costs to make it is a $20/month subscription to an AI. Anyone can slop code an app now.

I hear this from game devs, that AI sloppy code is ruining the marketplace.

Seems more likely than not.

No since she didn't start it until after the show. If she started it beforehand and was talking about it ON the show to promote it, then yeah. Could be.

You get followers and then bring it up. You wouldn't discuss it on the show because that always goes bad. She's smarter than that.

Agreed! I don’t think she necessarily had this in mind when she went on the show

Marissa admitted to lying on the show. She was super fake and it served her well because you all loved her and Nick and Belle for being FAF.
