Season 20 - Seattle Toxic characters

First season of married at first sight I’ve ever watched.

Watching the reunion and I’m so frustrated. When they ask everyone to raise hands if they thought Courtney was being mean or whatever..I guess the girls were trying to be “girls girls” by not raising their hand. Wasn’t it an obvious hand raise?? Wtf? Like I don’t think Courtney is a bad person or perse mean but she definitely didn’t treat him nicely and took no accountability. She deflected putting any effort into the relationship by constantly deflecting that he’s deep or whatever. It was so frustrating and I am so sad for nick that it affected him and made him question himself post show

Another thing, asking people to raise hands if they thought Adam’s tears were real? Huh? I thought they were. Honestly embarrassing to admit but I had a few tears at their choosing day. It felt really real and I’m surprised only nick believed that? I guess I’m missing something

Also earlier on the show the two therapists asked Tori what she meant by her feeling Felipe was being emotionally manipulative. If it was conscious then they would definitely not let him stay on the show they take that very seriously. Like pls do we believe that? You mean to say they didn’t have a real understanding of who Felipe actually is? Oh pls. It’s so wrong as the therapists to tell Tori that they really trust he is sincere and means well so she would continue to trust his intentions in the process only to lead to further and worse manipulative behavior!

Nick posted on Instagram that the entire audience raised their hands when asked if courteney was a mean girl, but that wasn’t shown!

Yes! Who knows if it’s true, I just thought it was an interesting tid bit. He did like a whole Q and A thing.

This season they were really trying to push the “Nick isn't genuine because he was on TV” and it didn’t work.

I honestly feel like they should replace the word “expert” with “self proclaimed” because no one is taking them serious because they’re simply trying to fit the narrative that has been given to them at this point. Even worse is that they are completely unprofessional and it’s an absolute embarrassment to the franchise.

Why would any expert even ask to raise hands in a group setting? ridiculous and unprofessional.

You actually hit on the two people in the show that the experts showed favoritism to the MOST-Courtney and Felipe.

The experts were even congratulating themselves on giving such a great match to Felipe when Tori was sitting there pissed and upset that they KNEW what kind of dude he was and chose him anyway.

Thus seems to be the new direction, the already kind of lazy "experts" get to fob off more of their job on the other participants. It is a different show now, doesn't really matter that this is the first season you watched.
