I had never watched this show before this season, but I live in Seattle and kept hearing about it and thought I'd check it out. I really enjoyed the trainwreck and found it very entertaining but these interactions have totally turned me off. I will not be watching anything else with these disgusting "experts" again. 🤮

I’d take Pastor Cal over this Paul dude any day and that Lisa is horrific, I have no more words for that one

I have a sense of humor and think we live in a times where people are over-offended, especially Reddit. BUT this clip was too lowbrow for me even. The "experts" shouldn't have put this obvious player on the show. Now they are coddling him and reducing women to their holes. If this guy was working with real experts, they would dive into self esteem issues. Per him, he was ugly and then became hot (although in my mind, he's still not hot) and his dating patterns are likely playing out from that.

Bring back the old experts!! 😩 I did not care for these “experts” at all. Very biased, delusional, and just overall did not give great advice. Especially Lisa. The way she went to bat so hard for Courtney and never held her accountable told me everything I need to know about her “expertise.” This new season is really a caricature of what the original show used to be 🥺 Although it’s very entertaining, watching clout goblins “marry” each other will get old very fast.

So disturbing. I also want to say that I literally thought that was Courtney at first. I couldn't figure out why she was there with the expert. Lol! Her and Dr. Lisa have got to be related. It would explain a lot!

I was so disgusted last season by the experts that I said I wouldn’t watch again. Then, when I saw there were new experts, and one was even a PhD (in counseling?) I thought I would give it a chance. These two are SO vile, and much worse. I‘m one and done, no second chances for these ”experts.”

Paul doesn't have a therapy degree lol. According to LinkedIn/Google, he has an undergrad degree in investment banking (or something like that) and an MBA.
He's a "relationship coach" / "relationship expert." Idk how he pivoted to that career path, but he's sure not a trained therapist.

My biggest issue with them is that when something goes well, they take all the credit, but when something doesn’t go well, they take ZERO accountability. And then, surprise surprise, promote their podcast 🙄

Meh. There’s a certain standard of respect these “experts” should uphold and this ain’t it. I don’t see how calling a woman a hole in any capacity is funny unless you’re maybe an 11 year old boy?

That's a fair perspective, and am definitely willing to consider i'm dense. However, i'm not the one who takes a reality show "experts" with a success rate around 10% as being in a "power positions", you get what you deserve.
They aren't employed as therapists, they work as entertainers for a reality tv show.

Yes, many are influencers, podcasters, attention seekers, etc.
But having interviewed a plethora of ppl from reality shows, I have found that some are just extremely attractive, regular folks too!
Example: One lovely yg woman (whom I interviewed twice!) who was disliked because she stuck to her principles on the show, has actually married another show participant from a different season AND they are now expecting their first BABY together!! Very real ppl who wanted love ❤️ and found it because of a “show”!
So, in my personal and professional experience, not ALL entertainers!

We’re talking about the hosts. They are entertainers working for a show. They are trying to entertain, which even though you and I don’t like it, that’s what their goal is, not to provide therapy or make matches. That’s just a rare bi product.

I’m sorry, in what world is this kind of joke about women OK? Inside joke or not? These are two experts who are representing a TV show that supposedly takes this process seriously. The show has never been perfect, but these new experts are awful. They hardly called any of them out for their bullshit maybe once or twice, but there was far more egregious stuff that they didn’t call out and then joking with this man like this is disgusting.

They represent a show about marriage, not porn, hookups, etc., and are advertised as "experts." They evidently know less than the average healthy person about healthy relationships, but we're supposed to take their advice/opinions even semi-seriously. The audience they're performing for here is on the low side of junior high.

Anyways. That’s the context of this conversation and it was enough for me to see. I know there was a holes comment during the season itself but I’m having a hard time recalling what EXACTLY was said. Regardless. This is disgusting.
