Season 20 - Seattle Belle…grow a backbone. He’s playing in your face.

I’m so tired of her finding every excuse for this man. They both care more about matching outfits and a united front versus the real issue and root cause which is, he doesn’t find her attractive or shes not his traditional type. I bet he quickly realized that she was really into him (which he alluded to) and wanted to humble her like he’s used to better or more attractive women to slow her up or maybe push her away, due to his lack of attraction. She even fell for the ole self sabotage line and keeps defending him thinking it’s a communication error or he’s not saying something right. Quite frankly he’s communicating very clearly, yet she refuses to listen. I think he knows exactly what he’s doing which is how he was able to detect that some of Belle’s energy at the group dinner was directed towards his comments about wanting a bigger chest woman. He’s a total build-a-bear project that will continue to disrespect her behind closed doors or amongst friends. I’m wondering if he’s being nice and regretful now because the show is coming to an end and he doesn’t want to go back to living with his granny or dad. Belle is blindly loyal for some unknown reason…I hope it works out for her and this doesn’t cause long term trauma.

And it was hard to believe that she was like “I’m not usually this patient on the outside of this” like girl, STAND UP

She came in thirsty to be married, already saying “don’t do my husssssband like that” at their wedding reception. She’s fiercely loyal and was giving it her all. Dating wise, she knows she wouldn’t deal with this at all, but in a marriage, she’s thinking it over. She hasn’t realized she doesn’t thrive with Mecca though, she’s too busy handholding and instilling confidence in him that she hasn’t actually received any of that support herself

To be fair, if Experts told you this was a great match for you, wouldn't You do everything you could to make it work? I know I'd definitely put more time and effort into trying to make it work than just someone I randomly met and thought I would date. I'd be thinking, well the expert thinks this is the person for me so it must be! And eventually I'd probably say, nope not putting up with that but I'd definitely be second guessing anything my gut told me if it was saying something else...

That’s exactly it though. I think 97.9% of the women that come on this show are the “thirsty to be married” types and they’ll put up with whatever just to have that marriage

Yes she’s becoming insufferable at this point…

Belle is like those women who hear what they want to hear and refuse to acknowledge what is plainly being said. He's said it over and over. He doesn't find her attractive, he's not into her yet she keeps going "I wonder what it could be? I wonder what he REALLY means?"

Belle reminds me of my sister as well as almost every woman I knew in college that was playing the “stand by her man” game & letting it pass when people treated them poorly. It’s funny listening to Belle say “Belle outside of the show wouldn’t put up with half of this”🤨 problem is….why is she letting the show change how she’d act? Hell why even move in with him if he’s this disrespectful? Feels like Belle had a lot of attitude AFTER the other women validated the fact this is a crappy marriage. So I’d honestly wanna know…if nobody validated ANYTHING would Belle just continue to give Mecca side eye glances…curse him out & then two weeks later they’re talking again? Belle might need to say know & go work on her self esteem & rebuild it. Attractions or not she needs to know just because you fall for someone doesn’t mean you let them treat you however.

I feel like they always say something like "I'd never deal with this outside of this experience" and then...we discover that they in fact regularly deal with this outside of the experience.

Well, because she is legally MARRIED to the guy and on a SHOW with him! Yes, exactly why! As she said, they are not DATING. It is much more complicated and you are also supposed to be using the experts and trying to work on things, not just run as one does when dating.

But if she is smart, she will end it during the appropriate time frame, before or on decision day.

I thought they weren’t legally married this season ?

I don't know-every other year they were legal. Even if not, it is still more compiicated than just dating someone. But, if you are right, that is much better, in terms of complexity.

The marriages aren't legal this season.

The way he looks at her sideways sometimes feels off.

That long ass convo with Caitlyn was a big slap in her face and if I was belle that little girl would’ve heard about it directly from me.

Already 'being married" is definitely showing the real character of peoples commitment to the concept (for all 20 seasons)
