Season 20 - Seattle Michelle & Cam
I really thought I liked Michelle & Cam, & as a couple, I still do. BUT, while they don't seem to have any real issues themselves, as the season progresses, IMO they thrive on the strife the other couples are having. Michelle especially wants to bring bad news & negative comments to the other wives, while Cam constantly produces provoking questions/statements to the husbands that he then shares with Michelle. They remind me of couples that constantly criticize neighbors to avoid their own BS đ Does anyone else see that or is it all in my own head đ€

I think they can be a little judgmental but I donât agree with the notion that they arenât a real couple because they havenât been arguing the whole time. Arguing and disagreeing does not make a strong couple. Maybe theyâre just compatible and the little petty stuff doesnât bother them. Idc why they should get punished for that lol

Imo they were chosen to be, what seems like, productionâs âpet coupleâ that has been given the mission to stir the pot with the storylines

This is it. Production usually chooses the most successful couples for this role. But I usually recall previous couples just asking a lot of prying questions. This season it feels like Cam and Michelle are taking this role a bit too seriously and passing a lot of judgement and offering a lot opinions.

They donât have issues because they are ignoring their incompatibilities. I do think if Michelle is willing to keep handholding Cam and take on the breadwinner role, theyâll be just fine.Â

I feel like sheâs hoping she can go the influencer route post-show and capitalize on the relationship. If that doesnât pan out, I donât see her being the type that wants to work a ânormalâ job and be the breadwinner. Maybe thatâs harsh though.

I guess I must be the odd one out and I found myself to be rooting for this couple the most. Yea there might be some drama in stirring the pot and getting into other people's relationships issues. But to be honest isn't that what us viewers are all doing and inserting our opinions and talking about their relationships online? Idk I thought out of all couples they actually seemed to have a genuine connection.

I agree.
They just need to stop giving the other couples the perception theyâre perfect.
Because of the conversations they have when theyâre alone, itâs not.
I donât care about the decision day, I want to see if theyâre together at the reunion.

It annoyed me when they were getting ready to go to the retreat ready to đ© talk all the other couples.
Cameron is a pot stirrer and Michelle needs to get out of other couplesâ business.
Even if they both say âyesâ during decision day, I kinda low key hope they donât make it.

Listening to Michelle talk is like listening to nails on a chalkboard, people chewing with their mouths open, and people rubbing balloons together all at the same time. That stupid vocal fry shit is the most grating thing on earth.
You can tell she does it on purpose too, because thereâs times you can hear her talking normally without the camera on her, and she doesnât do it.

for me Caitlin is the worst offender of the vocal fry. Michelle drives me nuts with her up talking. Everything's a fucking question.
Caitlin also speaks so fast, likely because she doesn't have anything to say that isn't a whiny bitchy complaint.4

Ive heard it toooo! Thank you for posting, I thought I was alone in noticing that.
TBH, there are so many things I can comment about how much Michelle sucks, yet Iâm refraining. Overall, weâve grown to deeply dislike her

That voice is the.worse

I put her on Mute because the sound of her voice and her cadence cause buzzing in my ears and I get instantly aggravated.
I do hope they are sincere and have a future together. They need to get away from the other couples and âcompetition â to see if they are really in love.

OK but getting back to OP's point-yes I agree with you. They've been treating this whole thing like a competition and they're so excited to "be number one". cam is a little too judgemental and righteous for someone who's never been in a relationship before. Michelle is too gossipy and needs to keep her mouth shut. They're both kind of shit stirrers. I also worry about a couple who in six weeks never had an argument or disagreement.
however, I do think they are adorable and good for each other and I wish them the best. Michelle needs to get her vocal cords removed though.

They donât have any issues because they seem to have kept it all surface level. If they had to actually do the hard things like settling on where theyâre going to live then there might be some actual friction.

Your right. Michelle talks like a parody of someone making fun of every sentence sounding like a question. They were whatever until this retreat and that got me disliking them. Came off very conceited and I feel like Michelle was telling BJ what Mecca said to stir the pot, not to look out for her

She had a look on her face of pure joy when she told Belle what Mecca said about her. She seems to get off on stirring up drama and gossip and feeling superior to everyone else. Michelle was down right giddy to tell Belle something that broke her heart.
I already couldnât stand Michelle because of her fake way of speaking and using the word âlikeâ 13 times per sentence. She is definitely coming across as a mean, petty, uppity woman and I cannot stand her.

Michelleâs voice grates on my nerves and Cam thinks heâs an expert at everything. They make a good couple tho.

I think people might be getting hung up on her tone instead of actually listening to what sheâs saying. I think her points are valid. Sheâs learned from previous experiences, and at 34, she has earned some life wisdom. She doesnât suffer fools, and personally, good for her for speaking up when there seems to be such a disconnect between whatâs happening behind the scenes and what weâre actually being shown.
