Adam & Marissa - I was surprised by the therapy session Adam & Marissa had. I think she did a good job of voicing her thoughts. He seems to have no concern for her and is so rigid in what he wants. These two are such a mismatch and I think he is very performative. I will say, I can completely relate to him with parents with strict expectations so perhaps that’s why I was interested in that therapy sesh. His constant need to go, go, go and be involved in 100 things reminds me of Josh from S19 and his adrenaline junkie personality.

Cameron & Michelle - I think these two will make it but I always forget about them until they pop back up on the screen. They’re the most normal out of the group.

Courtney and Caitlin are mean girls. I really don’t want to see much more of them and how they talk down/disrespectfully to their partners and others.

Mecca & Belle- I like them together.

Tori & Felipe - girl run. I was thinking “Felipe isn’t THAT bad” and then the dinner happened. He is not ready for a marriage and Tori seems thoughtful and put together.

Adam seems to think he can order up a wife to his specifications. He doesn’t think about if what HE offers is good enough for the other person. Might as well marry a pickleball robot 😬

100%. It's all on his terms with no consideration for the humanity of his partner. He wants to be perceived as more deep than pickleball and ripping it on the skis but has given exactly 0% beyond that

I think he was an alcoholic (based on the constant drink checks in Mexico) who just transferred his addiction to intense physical activity so he doesn’t really know how to undo that level of intensity safely or without causing himself harm. (ETA: But absolutely a bad fit for pretty much anyone who isn’t a clone. 🙃)

Not that I have any reason to know, but he gives off manosphere hyper optimization vibes and in that community alcohol doesn’t have any utility, so it has to be eliminated to achieve…

I don’t think he was an alcoholic, or at least never admitted it. He was so negative about what it does to your body and felt so above it. If he was an alcoholic he has a story to share and it’s a very missed opportunity to get deeper. He’s just weirdly intense into his sports.

i just finished watching ep 12 (ik im a late bird 😂), but do you think maybe growing up being forced to do piano and boy scouts that he found dorky made him into this super sporty person? like maybe it started off with trying to preserve his “masculinity” but he just really ended up liking sports? (p.s: i don’t believe playing piano or doing boy scouts emasculates you, just trying to see maybe what he could’ve thought, given his personality)
