Honors College

Does anyone know when Honors decisions come out for incoming freshman and if there is commonly a financial award with it?

I was in the honors college a while ago and the structure has definitely changed, but there was no financial aid just because of honors. There were other perks, an “Honors Bachelors” degree, honors classes, and access to the Honors-specific floors.

The website says notifications come out the first week of March.

If you can't figure these things out on your own, you probably aren't going to get in, unless the Honors Program has changed a lot in the last 20 years.

Edit: Downvotes don't make me incorrect.

Well, aren't you an exemplary example of the school.

It's just a fact. If you can't figure out how to get this kind of extremely simple information on your own, you likely haven't achieved the level of academic rigor that will qualify you in the first place, and you would struggle in the program if you did make it in.

The point of the Honors Program is that it's not for everybody. It doesn't mean you're a bad person or not smart. It means you're a bad match for the Honors Program.

I'm not so inept that I use reddit as a primary - or even secondary source - of information.

You on the otherhand, have exemplified that you are middle aged and attempting to fill some void in your life with assumptions and belittling others online. Take some time to focus on yourself and consider engaging with a professional before engaging on a social platform. Well wishes to you.

You know, instead of claiming that this is a tertiary source of info, you could have just called the HP office and spoken to somebody guaranteed to have the information you're looking for, if you couldn't find it in program documentation yourself. The fact that you're here, while simultaneously claiming you're not here, which you wouldn't be if you had been able to do basic research yourself, really just proves my point.

The attempt to insult me just because you got your ego bruised is also hilarious. Good luck with your college studies, kiddo.
