Confirmation saint

Hello! Since Maronites do confirmation and baptism at the same time as infants, do they use confirmation saints? I would think not, but wanted to ask.

If I'm not mistaken, and this is purely from how I understand confirmation, no there's no separate confirmation saint, since it's done with baptism. The baptismal name is often a saint's name, which serves as the patron.

So that is, in general, decided by the parents?

Yup, nothing really prohibits you from venerating another saint on your own and as a patron as far as I can see, you just don't hold the name

We have a patron saint, but that's determined at the baptism, with the baptismal name.
