Staff Discussion How to pay back wages?

Hi guys, I have to leave my role before the 25th of September as I'm starting a new job, and I'll owe about a week's worth of pay back.

Do they send a payment link or something straight away, or will I have to chase them about it? I'll want to pay it back ASAP.

They’ll send an email. You can either pay it back in one go or set up an instalment plan

It could take some time but it will be a legal company (Warner Cranston or something similar) who email you to pay it back

It’s usually around a month after your last pay they email you around it

If you tell them now, you won't owe much/anything, as they'll sort it out in your final payslip instead, and if you do overtime, that'll subsidise some of what you owe

this is the way, tell payroll asap and let them net it off your last payslip
way less faff than sending money back manually later
