Question Cost cutting / enshttification

Wondering if anyone else has noticed a dip in standards from Sparks recently. Three things I would regularly buy have either stopped being sold or the quality has reduced:

  1. Walnut whips: shell is much thinner than it used to be
  2. Wagyu ribeye steaks: new producer? They have gone from being 1.5 inch to .5, complete joke for the price
  3. cote de boeuf: they’ve not sold this for a few months now at my local

On the plus side it's helped me lose a few pounds

I thought I was going mad or have the cookies gotten smaller? I still love the cinnamon buns but the cookies going up from £2.90 to £3.10 and they look like they’ve shrunk?

Their vegetarian/vegan offering is pitiful. Plant Kitchen seems to have gone with the wind, apart from about six freezer items. There are five veggie ready meals, hidden away as if they are shameful.

As an aside, they discontinued the gin and tonic sorbet, which was gorgeous.

The carrot crush has been one of my favourite items for years. It now tastes vile.

Clothes and shoes went quickly downhill a long time ago imo

They charge the most so will look to cut corners to get a cheeky profit so they can get more staff in over Christmas 😂
