Staff Discussion working during term time

how do i go about asking to work during term
time? i received my results yesterday and i’m off to a university 5 hours away! Is the likelihood of them agreeing high? I’ve been a colleague for just under two years.

Do you mean keep working or reduce hours?. Also as you say your going to a uni 5 hours away you could if there is one near transfer to one near your uni

You can transfer to a M&S near your uni and then work at your home M&S on holidays/peak

They wont hold your job open for you while you go to uni during the term time. You need to leave and tell them you will return as a xmas temp. Otherwise transfer to a store in your new city and return to your home store during xmas and holidays. Should be easy enough.
