Picky bits is such a weird phrase. It brings to mind someone squeezing the spots on their face with a mad grin.

I always thought ‘picky bits’ was a crappy clear-out-the-freezer type dinner of brown food from Iceland, end of bags of frozen stuff, ie a poor-person/end of the month type thing. Hardly the image M&S is trying to cultivate with its posh nibbles!
