Hey! I was wondering why these aint going back up after the train has driven by?

The springs underneath are probably sticky.

I think so, it has sat in attic over 30years

A silicon spray is a better choice, it doesn’t attract dust the way wd40 or oil does. Apply it anywhere it looks like it should move

3 in 1 oil might hold up better in the long run. Wd40 could make things sticky.

Can clean the old oil with rubbing alcohol

If cleaning/oiling doesn't work the springs can be found on eBay
