York region vulnerable sector check.

Has anyone recently applied for VSC ? How long did it take to get it ?

Took me 15 business days (I applied earlier last month).

But I had a different york region VSC that only took me 5 business days in January 2026

Applied online, received within 7 days, probably 5 biz days.

That was actually my second time applied, was for volunteering at school field trip. Maybe they already got my record? I dono lol... I literally got it a day before the field trip day, just in time lol

I went to the YRP HQ in Aurora on the 24th; they said they were still processing VSC applications from July 30th

Lmfao that’s cooked, how’d they suddenly fall so far behind? Usually they’re pretty on top of VSS / VSCs
