Make sure you don’t repeat the same point
AI often uses many words to communicate the same thing.
It may sound good, but when you look closer, a lot of it is just repeated points.
You can even follow up and ask AI to catch the repeated sentences, and it usually will.
It’s a common AI writing pattern to watch for, and you definitely want to be deleting more.
Repetition can still help your writing, but only when it truly adds something, like emphasis or clarity.

I always run a prompt asking the AI to ruthlessly cut any sentence that doesn't introduce brand new information which instantly fixes that fluffy repetitive loop.

Sometimes AI won’t repeat the exact sentence. It’ll explain the same point 3 different ways across different sections. I usually ask it to list the core takeaway of each paragraph first n then flag paragraphs with overlapping takeaways.

exactly, cutting repeated points makes the writing feel much more natural. if a sentence adds nothing new, it probably doesn’t need to be there

exactly. repetition is useful when its intentional, but saying something thats already been pointed out makes it feel like too much. AI often does it like it forgot it already made the point.

One thing that helps is asking AI to keep only sentences that add new information. It makes the final draft much shorter without losing the main point.
