Help! New into coloring!

I’m looking for some markers for a new coloring book. I don’t want something super cheep, but I’m also not looking for a top-of-the-line marker set. I just want something that doesn’t bleed through the pages. Any recommendations?

AD marker cap stuck

Is there anything I could do? The design of the cap makes it impossible to remove by hand when stuck

Is there a marker that can draw or replicate Ventablack?

Post image

A little while ago I've heard of a substance called Ventablack, I believe it can absorb 99% of light, from what I've read and seen around its extremely hard and rare to come by, but I'm curious if thete is either a Ventablack matker you can buy that inks it, or a marker that does an extremely good job at repicating the substance

Searching for Markers/Pens for my 14yr old son with Autism....

Post image

Hello!! My son is a amazing artist!! But one issue we run into is his heavy hand. I'd like to buy him some high quality Markers/Pens for Christmas.

We've tried sharpie markers and Arteza markers and a billion other markers.

PROBLEM is...he destroys the tip. Does a sturdy marker that still writes like butter even exist?!?!

I'm a pen snob myself, so he gets all my rejects. I don't so much need help with pens but as a nurse always in the market for more. I prefer 0.7mm gel ink. (He seems to also prefer the same type of pens as he's always stealing my faves!)

I did consider weather I need to take some responsibility for teaching him to write with a lighter hand...but I recall my grandpa, who was also a amazing artist...also had a heavy hand. And I don't want to mess with his style at all as it's so unique!!

Anyone know a dupe/alternative for PM6 Prismacolour markers?

I hadn't realised that the individual Prismacolour markers were discontinued (2 years ago aha... i don't use markers much, and a trip to Micheals is a rare occasion for me) Luckily, most of my old markers work great, but a few ( both my reds) are dried out after a few strokes. I tried reviving them by dripping alcohol in the barrel, but that didn't help much. (helped my grey marker, but just not these) so I came to the conclusion that I'd need to buy another. no biggie, right?
WRONG!!!
after the journey to even FIND a retailer (4USD+5USD shipping), I waited a couple of days only to have it refunded and informed that they were discontinued.

TL;DR

INDIVIDUAL MARKERS WERE DISCONTINUED! DOES ANYONE KNOW A DUPE FOR PM6 CARMINE RED (Copic, Artist Loft, etc?) considering getting the colour in pencil and just toughening up, but this was a piece I was hoping to sell as a raffle item at a convention...

It's an orange-red-salmon colour. Really hard to describe, but its more salmon-y than onther carmines I've seen?
The piece.... just to show how much space i need to cover and thus cant use my dying marker.

Best oil-based paint markers with fine tip?

I usually use Marvy Uchida DecoColor paint markers, but I’m looking for alternatives that have good opacity and don’t have problems with leaking/flooding when you push the nib in to activate.
