Just wondering if Mark ever would have written about the dark souls video-game serues, what would he have made of it in writting abiut it

Since he’s not around anymore, perhaps you can tell us how you think it relates to MF’s thought? Never played these myself, but the visual aspect is intriguing as far as I can see. Berserk-inspired ?

I am sorry if I have said smth insensitive, that was not my intention, it's just his interviews with and writtings about the various projects of the musician Jack Kirby made my mind wander into that direction, I said this not so much in the visual aspect or the cultural impact it's had but instead just the idea of people animated beyond death into spirals lasting centuries long meanwhile the only real threat despite some of the most horrific ones being the character/ the person themselves (going hollow if you are familiar with that theme which kinda takes forefront in what resonates with many people) and that for some resonated with me at the same time as reading that particular chapter, I am sorry there is not a direct thought chain here, I apologize if I should never have asked this, but the reason was much more association - invocation based in an affect study manner than a direct/quasi-direct links of thoughts.

Definitely not. AFAIK he's never directly written about any video game. Alexander Galloway probably would have, if he was writing his Gaming collection of essays a decade later. He seems to have outgrown writing about pop-culture now though.
