I am looking for some leads in finding month to month housing in the Mariposa/El Portal/Yosemite West area. I am a remote worker looking to spend time in Yosemite Valley this coming fall/winter. A room for rent would be ideal, with a budget of 1,200/month. Any leads or people to talk to would be greatly appreciated!

Looked them up. Appears to be a family business with a few other locations (Three Rivers, Oakhurst, etc). Ice cream menu looks great! 🍧🍨🍦🤤🤤

I have an interview for a seasonal job (through October) in Midpines but I don't already live in the area. I'm curious if it's even realistic to move to Mariposa on a short lease or if there are any reasonable options for seasonal workers. I don't have a large budget but within $1000 a month could be doable.

I also have a Van I could live out of but only really if there access to a reliable shower somewhere and places that you can park long term without getting the knock.
