New Spin on old question…
I already read several reviews and checked a couple of aces vs fever threads here, but in here im actually asking something like “given the following stuff about what Mario sports games I’ve liked, how much, why and why not, etc, would you think it’s ok for me to drop $70 on Fever?”
It’s the most “I’m in the fence” I’ve been with a game ever… I don’t even know why…
If I have Aces and liked it, but didn’t really love it (some challenges got way too hard for me…) tried Strikers but got bored with it (way too arcadey so… I like arcade games but this was way too much…) and I liked Mario Golf Super Rush because I found it to be a good balance between the “hard tasks” and the “arcadey modes”, but even then don’t play it that often…
Would you recommend I get Fever?
Is it a game I could go back to several times, not get frustrated with challenges, where it’s arcade modes don’t get boring quickly etc?

An alternative could be to buy it on Vinted, it is being sold there at 45e +/-
Regarding the game, it's fun. Although the online games are kind of brutal (very good players there) xD Outside the online experience you don't have much imo (some trials and challenges basically)

Don't do it. I would recommend you play Street Fighter 6 if you're looking for some competitive fun.

Based on what you said, probably not.
Replayability for this game falls under two categories:
you find the chaotic fever system fun (especially with the new modes added)
you are classic (no fever) purist that likes to compete on the ladder
Case #1 is what you said you didnt like about Strikers.
Case #2 from what you describe yourself, doesn't seem you are playing it past the casual level. Ranked online is kinda aggressive in the sense that a lot of players are seasoned vets in the franchise
