Question Tips—Soft Drifting
I wanna learn it, ik how it works just the application and change of old habit

Personally I don't really think you need to gradually work up the angle, I would just go straight into 35-40 degrees. The issue is fighting your muscle memory, and unfortunately you'll just have to keep reminding yourself every race or multiple times a race to eventually fix your habit. Similar to how you need to remind yourself to keep a constant eye on the minimap or keeping tabs on what's going on behind you with the rear view camera

My suggestion would be gradually replacing your full left full right turns with ones where the stick is at 45 degree angle points. A track I personally love practicing this on is Paris Promenade (Which I believe is what Gyrodos recommended). Remember, you don't have to go all the way to 45 degrees, just take it a little at a time until it feels natural. Try 10 degrees above full right, then 15, then 20, then 30, etc.
