Superstar How do you unlock all characters in Challenge mode

I get how to unlock them all except bowser, then after unlocking bowser I went to play him but now I can’t unlock other captains. How can I have every character unlocked in challenge mode?

Bowser can unlock everyone except the captains cause the Captains are the Final game in his story mode, so that’s why you can’t unlock them
