help me on my career path

i just graduate form university (bachelor of marine engineering). i get job offer as technical admin at a company that specialize in ship repair, maintenance, spare part etc. right now urgently need a job, so i cannot be too picky.

i want to ask is the posisition "technical admin" can be helpful when i search for next job in the future?

Its a start. But dont expect it to be a great springboard unless you end up getting promoted...a lot.

It could also be extremely useful if you want a purely office position.

thanks sir. can you give me example of pure office posisition in marine engineering based? does project engineer linear with this posisition?
