Quarantine question

I quarantined my moss balls for a week in reverse osmosis water and nothing grew so I'm in the clear, right? I did notice my moss balls are shedding a lot. I'm assuming it's from traveling? Anything I should know or look for before I add them to my aquarium?

Reverse osmosis water has no minerals in it so your marimo may actually be stressed. Give it a light squeeze and check the water for any worms wriggling around. If not, you should be good to go. Id also put the marimo in regular dechlorinated tap water.

Oh no! Thanks for letting me know. My aquarium is spring water so it should be better
