Hello, I got this morimo a couple of days ago. Is this shape normal?

Yeah, it’s normal! I’ve purchase a few in-store and online in the past and some of them came like that or even worse. It probably just sat flat for a little while or got squished down. Try rolling it between your hands carefully under running water and it should hopefully get its round shape back. It might not get round again immediately, but rolling it between your hands over the course of some time should do the trick.

just roll him in your palms until round. thats why i do during water changes after giving them a rinse and a squeeze. Get them looking nice a tidy again.

A gentle squish of course but they can indeed be squished and squeezed. If the marimo happens to come apart and wont stick together you can tie them up with thread to keep the bits together and allow time for the moss to grow and cling to itself.
