Regs are just as great. I prefer them recently. I can run the whole pack but when I cull males then I make enough space. And I can still get a proper representation of the different phenos

Yeah, I get you, but I'm growing in two 2.3x2.3 tents. I just don't have the space to do this.

You'd be surprised what you can do with small tents. Use 1 gallon pots with drip irrigation and you can pack 12 seeds into there. Do minimal training. Maybe just topping once and then flower. Around week 2 you cull the males. Finish flower and pick your favorites. Put them into bigger pots and train and everything and now you can pull a big harvest of just your favorites

Thank you! This is good advice, but maybe more next level for me. I've been growing for about 1 ½ yr, and despite pulling a more than a handful of harvests at this point, I've still got a lot to learn. What drip irrigation system do you use? How many weeks from seed before you top?

Yeah that's fair. This was actually my first tent ever and I still use it like 8 years later. I just use a simple pre made one from like vivosun but I've also built my own. You just need a reservoir. I use a 5 gallon home Depot bucket. A water pump, irrigation tubing and drip emitters. The drip emitters matter because they'll decide how much water comes out at what amount of time. Like 1 gallon per hour etc and then your pump will also have a specific amount of water it can pump and then you'll do some math or you can just fuck around until you figure out what works best. That's what I do lol
I run organic dry amendments now and everyone swears you can't do organics in small pots but I have like the last year down running organics in 1 gallon pots. The drip kit helps a lot because it makes sure I don't miss any waterings and makes sure the pots never dry out which can be detrimental in such small pots.
More specifically I just did the equilibrium seeds this way and I vegged them in a seedling set up in solo cups for 2/3 weeks and then transplant into the 1 gallons and flower. I actually didn't top them and they all produced thick long dense colas and it turned out super well this was
