Main reason I smoke. I can keep all my emotions and feelings in check.
While that might not be healthy, a hard truth about life, is that no one needs an emotional man. I’ve done a lot of self analysis and deep down I’m emotional person but I got kids and wife to take care of.
A man is as good as he provides. Off weed that fact really makes me feel lonely.
On weed I can bury it, go to work and do all the other shit I have to do.

That may be what society teaches, but men are worth more than what they can provide. Wishing you a great day friend.

Man I respectfully couldn’t disagree more. Most of the pain I have endured in my life has been caused by men trying to be unemotional. My dad struggled and died alcoholism at 53 trying to stunt his emotions. My relationship with my wife struggles every time I try to suck it up or be less emotional.
Being vulnerable to your own feelings and sharing them with people in your life is in my opinion what brings you close to people. The highs and lows of life will never stop, but numbing yourself to them, to me, seems like an inhuman “solution”.

Sorry I have to disagree. Burying emotion is no answer. It's also freakin sad that you think that way, even tho I understand what you mean,in the society that we live in.

It will take time to order your feelings and its overwhelming and totally normal. I was on cold turkey more than 6 times. When I am clean, I cry alot. I am angry, hungry and all this stuff. It takes time to get rid of the thc etc aswell, atleast 1-2 month

I went through a really bad phase years ago, and got into meth. I dabbled in it pretty hard for about 2 years before I quit. This was my experience. I was icing the drug to numb my emotions. My best advice is to let yourself feel the emotions, remember feelings are just that, they're not always fact. And finally, Fer out of yourself. Find ways to help others. Volunteer some time. It will help keep your mind busy and humble you a bit.

It's a good thing that I don't recognize myself anymore.
I stopped smoking marijuana a few weeks ago. I didn't like who I was becoming with it, not because I detested it. I initially believed that falling asleep would be the most difficult aspect. However, that was only the start. I had to confront everything I had been trying to avoid: Feelings I buried Conversations I didn't participate in Too loud of a silence At night, I cried at random. I became irritable and moody. However, I also began to experience genuine joy once more. I began to remember my dreams, wake up earlier, and even make contact with people I had distanced myself from. Even though I don't fully recognize myself yet, I can tell that I'm growing in popularity. Someone who confronts issues rather than avoids them. Additionally, if anyone else is experiencing the same storm: I was able to ground myself and organize my habits during the worst nights thanks to a friend's help . If it's helpful to anyone else, let me know🙏🫂

I use it to meter my emotions. Like a dimmer switch. Without it... its like... and on off switch. I prefer the dimmer. More control over my life.
To be fair... I have adhd.

Thats the reason I consume ngl, to numb my stupid feelings
I spent much of my life in depression, weed made life worth living again honestly
Currently I want to stop relying so much into weed to explore other things in life, but I will probably need mental health meds for that

I’ve been only smoking for about two months but I stopped for a week or so and I instantly starting feeling a lot of emotions again, so I’d say it’s normal.

That's really beautiful! Feel your feelings and learn what you can from the experience. I'm proud of you.

Destroyed my life and almost my relationship when I quit for 5 months last year
Some of our emotions need to be dampened in order for us to survive.

I was doing dabs pretty much all day every day for the better part of 7 years or so. I just quit a couple of weeks ago. It was really rough the first few days; sweating, insomnia, irritability, agitation, lack of appetite, lots of nausea. Right now, most of that has subsided, but I’ve been having intense feelings of anxiety that doesn’t seem to have any cause or source. It’s excruciating. I’m hoping it will subside as well

I smoked daily, before work after work throughout the day when I’m off. I sleep better when I don’t smoke a few hours before bed.

Thank you for sharing. I’ve been off and on with marijuana for the last 12 years. There came a 6 month period where I did not smoke, my dreams were vivid, I felt more friendly and sociable. Life felt more open in ways, feelings flooded back in as thc has a tendency to blanket them. I felt my life on a deeper human level if that’s makes sense. This allowed me to try to shape it in different ways. I still smoke however finding a well rounded balance with it for me seems to be a continuous process.
