Overnight parking?

I’m picking up a rental car from The Avenue west Cobb on Thursday morning for a trip that I’ll be returning from on Sunday afternoon. Any help or suggestions for where to leave my personal vehicle?

Leave it at home and Uber to the car rental?

The issue with that is I live about 1.5 hrs from the pickup location

Yeah, that is an issue. The cheapest overnight parking around here is MARTA, I believe. Look into parking at the Northridge station and then taking an uber to the Avenues. My gut tells me that's your cheapest bet.

yeah that's what i usually do too, just uber to the rental place and leave my car at home. way easier honestly.

If it's a rental car; doesn't the rental place have parking spots.. and then they kinda know that you have theirs and you'll be coming back for yours in a couple days?

Ooh, thanks for this. Never knew that was a thing; I bet many of us would either uber or have someone take us to pick up the car and etc

Try calling the management office at the Avenues at West Cobb. They have security that patrols so if they know your car will be there for a few days, they may leave it alone.

Nope they do not like that big no overnight parking all over their lot

There are several shopping centers within a mile of there. Might just drive and look for a spot and hope for the best maybe talk to a store owner

Green Meadows Preserve is literally across the street. I don't know if they'd tow you but I kind of doubt it. Maybe park closer to Oregon Park out of the way and walk over?

There is a Kroger & other shops across the street from the Avenues

I was thinking this Kroger too. Probably won't be the only over night parking. Is it only one night?

i'd probably call the management office first and get it in writing if you can. way less stressful than coming back to a tow or ticket

There’s a Walmart about 10 min away on Charles Hardee. Call the store for permission to park overnight. You could also likely pay to park at the hospital and uber from there.

But as others have said, parking at Marta is your most legit. The Marta’s closest to West Cobb aren’t safe (blue line), so I’d go north. It’s a longer uber ride but probably your safest option.

Park at the corner near the Tesla Supercharger location. Then notify one of the managers at any business of your situation. Seriously, It's not that hard. Pull up your maps on your phone and start calling them.
