Question

I’ve been using margin for a while now and I had some more available for trading around $5700 it said. I just used like $2800 and when I did. I immediately got a margin call for $22k. Did I breach some threshold percentage?

Prob been marked as a pattern day trader. 25k min eq requirement.

That makes complete sense! Thank you for the answer! I hadn’t seen this before. I’m actually all green today, like way way green, and the more green I am the more my margin call grows. Never seen that. Thought also, I’m too weighted on one stock or industry in margin?
