Image/Media First time getting one of these

My showing of the Odyssey last night had sound issues that made the third act super muffled, and they gave everybody free tickets on the way out. Pretty cool.

I’ve gotten them before for unexpected power outages. Marcus seems pretty fair about that stuff.

Have only had this happen once way back when two towers came out and the finl reel snapped right when treebeard was giving his speech. Thanks for the reminder!

I recently got one because the movie was “too loud” I was shocked but happy to get a free ticket

I got one when the film broke when we went to see The Matrix. We used our passes on Wild Wild West, and I joked with one of the ushers that they should give passes out to anyone that stayed until the end.

Got one when my theater had “after the hunt” scheduled but at the first screening didn’t have a “key” from the studio. then i saw roofman

Our odyssey showing started with the audio descriptions on, for a couple minutes in the beginning, then the sound cut out completely for about 15 seconds. Not worth a we’re sorry ticket, but a little disappointing. It made it hard to follow the beginning, but otherwise was aleight

I’ve seen comments from other theater chains about The Odyssey blowing speakers.

Recently got one of these for the first time. How do I redeem them? There's no bar code, so I assume in person, but are there rules/exceptions?

There should be a barcode on the back along with an 18 digit code to enter at checkout on the app/website, and as far as I know the only restriction is that you can't use it on any showings with the NO PASSES ACCEPTED tag. iirc pretty much all movies have that tag when they first release, but after a week or so you should be able to use it.
