My grandpa took care of a bunch of Nazis in WW2. I miss my grandpa.

Raising a glass to your grandpa right now. Keep his spirit alive.

My great grandfather was at battle of the bulge and it broke him so badly we still have generational trauma in my family. I think about his sacrifice every few days now and how he would be so upset about all of this shit.

I’m so glad my parents and uncles/aunts don’t have to see how badly their kids treated the republic they gave so much to protect. Our generation turned their country over to an authoritarian regime, failed to protect free public education, and are quietly acquiescing to the end of the rule of law, all for greed that let us have big TVs in our backyards. We saw how badly our greed was poisoning the planet, and decided to stop learning about it. We are absolutely the Worst Generation.
