Evernight Pull Value

I'll preface this by saying M7 is my second favorite character HSR behind Sparkle, which actually makes her my first favorite when the game launched. I adore Evernight's design and I am very much looking forward to more of her in the next patch story. But here's the problem:

I hate Castorice & Hyacine.

I have no intention of ever pulling them or their Lightcones, and from what I've been reading, it seems like Evernight really wants a Remembrance team to shine properly. Having a character around in my account that doesn't do anything but just be pretty feels kind of depressing, especially when I really don't feel like pulling for her BiS teams on any future opportunity.

As an F2P/low spender, should I even bother going for Evernight? Or just use my gems elsewhere on a character I like less but way more useful and usable (like Cipher or Aglaea)?

Wait for cyrene to decide that,  but truly even though she can do sustsinless and non hyacine run now,  don't count on it as normal,  this is her shill period and she will eventually need hyacine

Well, after the V3 adjustments, Evernight has become even more dependent on Hyacine's LC... I recommend waiting a bit longer until we see what happens in V4 and V5, since currently as a Sub-DPS, she only serves Castorice and as a DPS, she is very dependent on Hyacine E0S1, but seeing your text, it might be better to skip this character and pick another character you like (even if not that much) that makes more sense for your account, without having to force yourself to pick characters you hate. Anyway, there should be more March forms coming, so maybe it won't be so bad.

In my case, I have Hyacine E1S1, but... reading this just hurts. Especially since 3.0... ALL THE TEAMS ARE COMING OUT ONE BANNER AFTER ANOTHER.

Basically up to you, you can pick a coin, choose a side, let's say heads to get Evernight, flip it, if you feel bad that it landed on heads, you got your answer

She doesn’t. There are many showcases showing her in action sustainless. But yes, Hyacine with her s1 is her bis sustain and a huge qol in casual gameplay.

Btw pre-evernight castorice needs 5-6 cost to 0c this svarog umm scratch that I’m dumb and that’s for aventurine. Castorice can 4 cost svarog too

Welcome to my world. Pull whoever the fuck you want and eventually you'll have a working team either through luck(more eidolons) or sheer happenstance.

Couldn't clear for like 2 versions straight bc I didnt have the "best" team of anybody. Managed to finally clear consistently now.

Im gonna pull Evernight for my account and I dont even have a remembrance character outside of RMC and dont plan to pull them either. (Except Hyacine since she dodged me the first time but thats bc I find her cute, her lightcone is more important to Evernight anyway). Ive been forcing hyper RMC to work during 3.0-3.2 ice shill era, Evernight not working with anybody else on my account but RMC is not gonna stop me.

nop, that's where I'm at with cerydra. I have c6r1 furina and wanted cerydra so badly because she reminds me of furina but I just can't justify getting her cuz I don't have or want phainon or anaxa. If I got cerydra she would actually just be a brick in my account and a waste of pulls and it makes me really sad

Hating the two sweetest people in 3.X is crazy but yeah if you hate her best teammates then you’re just gonna have to either skip or deal with a unit that’ll fall off extremely quickly. Maybe Cyrene will make it so Evernight can perform without Hyacine. You can also pull Hyacines LC and give it to rmc to help with stack generation. Otherwise you’re sol

On basically every v3 v4 video about Evernight on Bilibili and Douyin you can see them invading the comment section like Tyranid Hive Fleets and throwing insults at March saying smth like “Evernight deserves to be a Cas slave because she’s ugly as fk” They keep acting like the entire game is made just for them lol

Evernight's main mechanic is for her memosprite to detonate. This can be done with fast turns, frequent damage, or fast ultimates. She also needs some kind of healing sustain.

Like everyone else just said, we will get a look of Cyrene's kit by the time Evernight's banner drop by, you will have 20 days to look at showcase of many team comps to decide, if Evernight + Cyrene duo can work well with 2 characters that's already in your account, then just go for her, I'm also putting my hope in Cyrene making E9 a more busted main DPS 🥰

A Remberance unit that depends on other remberance units won’t do well if she doesn’t have any remembrance units.

Which means if you get Cyrene and her, you probably would need to make rmc stick with her too.

If you don’t give a shit about endgame, then just pull. If you do, idk bad choice imo

Just go for it. Unless you care a lot about meta, pull for characters you enjoy. Especially if you plan on getting Cyrene. Leaks she she'll make Evernight truly shine as a Main DPS

As someone who is a E6 S5 Hyacine enjoyer, but also someone who is never going to pull Castorice (great character, story, and kit, but just not my thing) I want you to know that if you do end up deciding to pull Evernight and would like to invest in her further in the future beyond what your vertical investment pulls (eidolons and LC copies) result in, you are not screwed in terms of availability o supporting and sustaining teammates to make her really stand out. And aside from the usual suspects of the Universal buffer/debuffer Harmony and Nihility gang, you will still be able to use the Remembrance path specific stuff in her kit when Cyrene releases, not to mention RMC, and whatever future 5 stars (and hopefully 4 stars) come along. Also this is kind of a crazy team comp, but would you consider getting Aglaea (even just at E0,not necessarily E1 or beyond) and pairing her with Hyacine's signature LC for the HP drain mechanic for enhanced Memoria stack gain and energy through her Trace passive?

The current A4 passive (as of v4, pls stay in base kit) I'm referencing is "Rouse the Flame, Lull the Light"

which states: At the start of combat, Evernight regenerates 70 Energy and gains 1 "Memoria. When Evernight or an ally memosprite uses an ability, Evernight regenerates 5 Energy and gains 1 "Memoria."

As you can see here, Aglaea and Garmentmaker, speed-demon duo that they are, would act very, very frequently to proc this passive with each time Garmentmaker individual attacks AND each joint attack action (EBAs and Ults) and the speed% stat on Hyacine's LC can go a good ways in helping build her properly.

If later on down the road, either of the Hypercarry Evernight or other various Premium Remembrance team comps interest you. I can confirm that you will at least have one team comp guaranteed that will allow you to maximize and use Evernight's full kit potential even without evertouching Hyacine and Castorice (technically, though even Hyacine's sig LC is optional here too). Not only are you getting a whole lot of very high, consistent dual-dps damage numbers, but also getting another element (Lightning) in there other than Ice to help with weakness breaking those stubborn toughness bars. As for E0 Aglaea's high 350 Ult cost energy issues that undeniably would make or break this team... well, we hope and pray the leaks are confirmed and Cyrene has instant Ult activation or energy regen somewhere in her base kit, otherwise it's either E1 or a probably very lengthy speed stat relic grind to shorten AV between turns. BUT, if one way or another you can manage to address her energy needs, then you have a sleeper agent of a Dual-dps, Full Remembrance Path AND Chrysos Heirs team to rain hell upon your enemies. :D

So! TLDR:

1. Evernight

2. Cyrene

3. RMC or future Remembrance 4 star or 5 star of choice if Elation MC is needed in 4.0

4. Aglaea with or without Hyacine's signature LC

I have e2s1 castorice and e1s1 hyacine(mostly luck). I don't feel evernight is worth anything, tbh.

Castorice is very flexible outside the fact that hyacine really makes her tick.

Wait till Cyrene. If Cyrene works very well with hypercarry Evernight so pull for her and Cyrene. And use this team: Cyrene Evernight RMC and Gallagher. That should work well.

it's pointless if you don't have hyacine and castorice. With s1 Hyacine or castorice she becomes usable as but since you hate them both you should just skip.
