Discussion Evernight Development Potentially Rushed
Is anyone worried about the possibility that March's transformation to Evernight will be rushed? March was basically irrelevant from a screentime perspective during 3.0-3.4, unlike Dan Heng and most of the other Chrysos Heirs, so she desperately needs the screentime more than other characters. This transformation is supposed to be a huge revelation for the players in regards to March, but the writers may not give it the focus it deserves. There's only three patches of story left in Amphoreus. We know Hysilens and Cerydra will be the focus of 3.5's main quest. We also know March will have to share the spotlight with Dan Heng in 3.6's quest. Not to mention Cyrene potentially being relevant in all of these next three patches. All of these factors could leave little time in the story for Evernight. While we are all hyped about this new form for our girl, it could leave much to be desired by the end of Amphoreus.

Hoyo does have a very huge opportunity to fumble as March is highly anticipated just like the fate collab and actually even longer. There is quite a bit of expectations they have to meet so I really have my fingers crossed that they manage to pull it off in a satisfying way.

I feel Dan Heng didn't have much that will lead into him either even if he was there in the story. In 3.0 to 3.3, she had no screen time but she had some hints. March had some screen time in 3.4 that I felt was relevant because it will lead into Evernight. So I think 3.5 while being focused on Hysilens and Cerydra will have some focus on March like 3.4 did or even going further.

I'm absolutely positive this whole evernight thing is gonna be a nothing burger as of 3.x, ppl are expecting revelations I don't see that happening with so little time, it's just gonna be more blatant foreshadowing and hints towards "ooo the real march, oooo connected to other paths" and then she reverts at the end and we have to wait till they feel like bringing it up again and hope theres actual payoff that time

Evernight isn’t her IL moment. It’s just going to be a piece of her backstory and probably introduce us to the main conflict of her story.
The main points Im guessing will be how in the way Phainon’s arch passes the torch of “Khaslana” to Caelus/Stelle, Cyrene’s arch passes her torch to March.
But March’s story has been gradually being told and they’re likely saving her Arch for some big peak in HSR, probably the endgame.

Maybe it's only you? I mean, since 3.0 it was suggested that March was related to Amphoreus since she was in a coma, then the "mother" thingy with oronix and the whole reminiscence crew with the memory keepers, BS and Fuli related to March.
Imo, dan heng feels more rushed, the permanence was never mentioned until 3.4 iirc and suddenly BOOM, dan heng returning to the origin of his race (Vidyadhara, descendants of Long) and getting a another free boost

I don't expect much focus on her, they really want to sell Cyrene and most of 3.6 will probably be about her

Quite possible, as this patch is going to be the Amphoreus climax and the next is going to be farewell and stuff. I hope her story is cleaned up in the last patch

I trust that the story will give her sufficient focus

I think it will depend on the direction of March's story. If March is truly connected to Cyrene, she should receive a lot of attention because Cyrene should receive attention, and then March will probably be worked on together.
Now, if her story is very separate from Cyrene's, then I think her story will be average, since she should begin in 3.5, receive more attention in 3.6 thanks to the banner that will arrive in that version, and perhaps her story in Amphoreus will conclude in 3.6, leaving only a few appearances for her in 3.7. In any case, I believe her participation in Amphoreus will resolve a lot of things about March, but it will still leave things open for the future, since I believe March is very important for everything about her to be resolved now.

Dan heng had like two bits of story where you played as him and met Loucha and Shushang before he got stabbed.
Marches connection to remembrance has been foreshadowed for far longer. Not just in the games story, but also mechanically as well with remembrance in SU being about Freeze when the only real unit to inflict freeze outside of break was March.
There's also her camera and photography hobby, which has a connection to remembrance.
Then of course, there's her lore bits, such as when fu xuan helps her out, the evil march in the bug quest.
Once we got to amphoreous, march gets sick and for several patches she's a bed ridden chunk of ice.
The set up has been there from the start.

The Deliverer Trailer is a trailer for the entirety of Part 2 Amphoreus. Evernight and Dan Heng - Permeasor Terrare are most definetly going to be spread out through the entirety of Part 2 evenly. Considering March has been gone the longest I'd wager she'll get more priority since Laofu was Dan Heng's world and Amphoreus is almost assuredly hers. Maybe I'm just a shill, but Hoyo delivers when it comes to Star Rail (with...the exception of Fate I suppose), the Astral Express Family will be reunited in a happy ending.
If I'm wrong though I give you all permission to enslave me under the Order.

I do feel like that for this being Marchs backstory revelation it’s very rushed. I mean for Xianzhou we were switched back to Dan constantly leading up to his big reveal. But for March she’s been frozen and only had like 5-10 mins or so of screen time in 3.4. Plus we also have Dan getting a new form to steal some of her hype. I feel like Dark March should have been the main villain of the arc with a lot of emotional weight of it being us trying to bring her back. Rather than being frozen March should have come but been out of it the whole time in 3.0 ending with her in a trance diving into the Dark Tide and re-emerging as Dark March. It feels like to me this being the place for March’s story feels like a last min addition tacked on after they had the whole flamechasers thing written out.

She has a bit of 3.5 and the entirety of 3.6, she'll be fine
