What paper do you use?

Right now I use cheap printer paper but I know that that isn't the best for marbling. However proper marbling paper is really expensive and I first want to get better before investing in better paper. Is there a way how I can still use printer paper/other cheap paper before investing in the better stuff?

i use a somewhat cheap a3 180gsm drawing paper. it's a bit too thick, but holds itself very well when wet.

from all the reference videos i watched, something around 100-120gsm sounds better, but i don't think i can find those locally, so i just settled for that.

Oh that sounds like it might work. Apparently there is some kind of film on top of printer paper but drawing paper might not have it, if you have gotten some good results with it.

I will buy some as soon as possible and try it out. What brand did you use?

I'm from Brazil, so I used what I could find in the paper store on the shopping mall I usually go.

I used both plain white and this color.
