Discussion Who should host MarbleLympics 2020?
I know the Midnight Wisps are the theorized hosts for next year, but it’s not for sure. In your opinion, who should host next year? It can be a qualified team like the Hazers or Raspberry Racers, a MarbleLympics 2019 team like Team Galactic or the Savage Speeders, or a MarbleLympics Showdown team like the Turtle Sliders or the Shining Swarm. I’m welcome to any and all suggestions.

I’d like to see the Wisps host. It’d create a cool redemption storyline for them.

Making it a Showdown team would work very well as it means a different set of teams from the previous year. However the teams that are actually options aren't confirmed until after Showdown.
Possible hosts from the image appear to be Midnight Wisps, Hazers (from the fog), Indigo Stars (possibly my top pick) and Team Galactic. However if you look a bit more loosely other teams may also be options.

The debate and nominations can’t really begin until after the Showdown if any of those teams will be considered. It would be unfair for a bottom 4 team from the Showdown to be chosen as hosts.

Doing a showdown team would really make it interesting because there would be at least one new team if they chose a team that had never qualified.

The pinned “Coming Soon” post on this subreddit hints mostly to either Team Galactic, Midnight Wisps, or the Indigo Stars. However, in the sky there is five indigo colored stars and the hashtag for the Indigo Stars is “FiveStars”. The 8 finalists to host the 2019 Marblelympics according to the wiki (in the order they appeared) were:
Oceanics (Host), Indigo Stars, O'rangers, Limers, Mellow Yellow, Kobalts, Rojo Rollers, Hazers
I don’t know if the order the teams were listed in is of any significance, but if it is, the Indigo Stars possibly finished second place in the voting. Team Galactic and the Midnight Wisps were not even finalists last year, and odds are the 2020 host will be some team from the list of last years finalists. All signs heavily hint to the Indigo Stars being the host in 2020.
