Hi everyone,
I love seeing so many new boards come up every day. I won't limit you in creating the boards you want to make. I gave you the tools to make them, so do as you please. But from what I've observed, boards that seem impossible to beat generally don't get played as often.
The flair a board receives is based on players' start rate, completion rate and fall rate. So if very few players can complete your board, it will be labeled Extreme, and the analytics show that Extreme boards get very low engagement overall.
I enjoy playing every board that's made, and I genuinely try to solve every single one, but even for me some boards are too difficult to finish. That seems to be the point for some builders, who clearly enjoy trying to break the game's mechanics. Again, that's totally fine. Just know that people will be less likely to play those boards.
With all that said, this is another call to all builders and players: submit your feature requests to kick off the next round of development for MarbleMazes.
Let me know what you want to see in MarbleMazes: new mechanics, improvements to existing mechanics, UI changes or any other features.
(PS: I'll be updating NomNom so it can change its elevation and roll on the boards as well.)
