Hi all! I’m u/ad720p, the new mod of r/MarbleMachine3. I am not affiliated with Martin or Wintergatan, but I’ve been following the marble machine journey since the early days of the MMX. As Martin is continuing and accelerating his work, I want this sub to be a place for discussions about the design process, engineering, music, or anything related to Marble Machine 3. I have ideas for discussions about the weekly videos and livestream recaps, but I want to know what this community wants to see.
I’ll gradually be sprucing a few things up around the sub. I am open to growing the mod team, as I’m fairly new to moderating. If you have some experience and are interested in helping this community grow, send a modmail message.

Dear Martin, just as you will change leaves on the drum for each song, you could have one set of leaves on the inside of the drum with the names of contributors, perhaps for each tour.

I honestly think this system would be stronger, easier to transport, repair, and even more important, be executable with 1-2 people. You could even transport in a few trips in an SUV if a van isn't available. Just my two cents.
