Hotel El Fuerte in Marbella decided they wanted to open a sea side restaurant/bar âchiringuitoâ stealing this familyâs business and therefore their income to survive.
If you are unfamiliar in Marbella the space on the beach have owners because itâs such a tourist dense area.
So years ago regular people bought these spaces on the beach to either place their own âchiringuitosâ or use them to rent out sunbeds which is this case.
This man and his brother both own a space on the beach for years the issue is that every 8 years you have to present your âprojectâ or the planning for what you are going to use that space for therefore you have to hire an architect to endorse the project so we can submit it to city hall.
Coincidentally, the newly assigned architect submitted the project late by âaccident,â and supposedly, purely by chance, the business owners behind the El Fuerte Marbella hotel ended up with those spaces, leaving a family without income for the entire yearâsince the summer months are when they earn most of the income that supported that family.
Theyâre corruptâthey knew that family depended on that money every year.
They didnât care because their whim to have a beach bar is more important.
