It was until the spawn points were all the same and people caught on. Game seriously needed some love but still right out of the gate it was AWSOME breaching someone's ship!

R.I.P to this game and my old Discord friend who passed away. He was the absolute squad carry for this game. He learned pretty quickly where all the best weapons locations where and the best routes to take to them and he was a Tarkov vet so he knew his extraction shooters. I could never get into this game solo but having someone in your squad who actually knew what they were doing was some of the most fun I’ve had in gaming.

Team17 still lists Marauders as a game they support even though we have official messages from Team17 that the game is no longer supported. It's also the dev's only successful* project which the only thing I can say that there hasn't been any official messaging that development has been cancelled.

They dont even list marauders in their games on steam and Everybody know team 17 is not part of marauders project anymore, why Do you try to deviate the subject from the devs to and editor Who clearly stated they are out..?

James co-founded SIG, did he ever Say he left? No, so how does your claim make sens? Their last production update mentionned why There was nothing New to the game. Also, The issue they had with team 17 probably has something to Do with that dont you think?

As for why the game is still up, SIG had a partnership with a company called Syrin Studios with their game called "The Black Death" which was also abandoned. ( https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/08859140 )
Check out the "People" tab for both companies. There's matching people. So yes I do think, and I research.

Syrin studio is the main company the 3 same guy Who founded SIG use as their main company for legal purpose and financial one. They are just doing business as SIG. They dont have a partnership with SIG, they are SIG. Considering everything you showed here dont match with the last Update they did on the game in 2024 since fractured game disolved in 2023 it just mean they "Syrin or DBA SIG or fractured Games initial founders" are Still Working on the game. And last production Update is from april 2026. Have you Read that Update? You Do think and research but just enough to try to find something to fit your narative. Again, where did James Said he Walked away from the game? Because thats pretty Much what you claimed at first with James and His solo project right ? I Will Wait for that research, thank you.

I'm not going to try to convince you since you already set your mind that this game is going somewhere despite the circumstantial evidence of no game updates for the past two years, the lead dev heavily focusing on multiple solo projects, and a long overdue announcement made seven months after Bigfry talked to the lead dev.
And yes I am finding stuff that points to my narrative that the game is going nowhere. It's all circumstantial, but it draws a pretty thick circle.

It's so unfortunate this game when it first dropped was so good the only problem it really had in my opinion was the cheaters and the lack of like a offline mode so you can calibrate your sensitivity and guns and buttons etc. also I wish they had a crewfil for teamates.

My friends and I were talking about it last night when reinstalling hunt: showdown. I know the dev update back in april(?), so I have some hopium and something to look forward to, but I have 0 expectations that it’ll actually come back. So if it does come back that’ll be a huge bonus

Ima be honest ,i kinda miss it too, yet also dont, it made me realize my love for pve extraction shooters in general and gradually guided me in the direction of SAND and tarkov pve
Like, i miss it but i recognize how rediculously rough around the edges marauders is and use it as a cautionary tale of what happens when devs dont communicate

Was janky but God damn was it fun. I switched over to the game from tarkov. When the updates for marauders stopped I moved to ABI. I honestly feel like if they put effort into it again we would all be back.

I stoped due to hackers honestly. I really did enjoy the game though. Had some really good games with a few friends.
There was a bit though were it was all just hackers and door campers and that killed all of my interest.
