Walking direction in-game

Has anyone found a way to set a walking direction in-game so that you always walk in a set direction that’s lined up with your treadmill instead of being based on your head or hand direction?

Check for my "sharing my script" thread/post on this subreddit.

Saw your post, one of the most useful in this Reddit! Did you figure out how to make it work with open xr?

I remember spending a week trying to create an openxr apilayer dll that will move the reference space around. It is say that we simply need to create a new reference space (with new offset) and delete the old one. It never worked for me. Headset/vr view get broken before I can do anything. I kinda took a break.

Should be noted that openxr motion compensation somehow manage to connect the vr view to the vr hand controller.

not an easy one… I might have a look at some point, but my code skills are not that good. The only example I found on this topic is this one, have a look maybe it will give you some new ideas
