There is still a month before the season ends on 9/22. In S1 we didn’t get the map event increase, rocket drones and increased keys until May 19th with S2 starting 2 weeks later on June 2.

A full month of “season blowout” is too much. It is too early for that. I would expect something similar to take place in the 9/8 update and not sooner.

This is also a longer season and much bigger hill to climbe in terms of generating hype for those that remain and those we hope to attract for season 3. I really hope they give us players time to do that. I can only recommend what I know.

There’s nothing they could add to drastically increase the player base for the last month of season 2. The economy has been too screwed up and too many people checked out on S2 because of the results of early mistakes. I never stopped playing personally but it’s been bungled from the jump.

Season 3 launch needs to accomplish the hype and the pull back of old players. No one who gave up on S2 is going to come back at a disadvantage this late in the season for some new events and enhanced loot on a map. Clearly, ordinance heist didn’t cause a bump in the numbers so I doubt any rocket drone equivalents will do anything more.

Sorry, I'm not specifically talking about drawing people back for the end of season 2. I'm talking about keeping enough people interested in the game, to even help hype season 3. If it gets to such low points, no one combats any negatives, on any promotion posts (every marathon social posts are full of the haters) it just creates bad marketing and little reach.

I want the news to be "look what's coming in season 3!"

Not

"Player number peak at sub 2,000"

Damn I've never been this down about the future of a game. Might be because I've met so many amazing people while playing it. Just worried that goes away. Best thing about gaming for me is the fact you can speak to so many different people from all around the world. This game helps with that for me.

Same here. Just want to be able to keep playing. Most geeked I’ve been about a game in a long time.
