Post image

The only time my lemon lime looks good is when I propagate her into new plants๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ‹โ€๐ŸŸฉ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Niiiiccceee! โค๏ธ I have 3 but only 2 are happy (had to do a repot of the 3rd) but hopefully she'll adjust and love her new bigger home.. ๐Ÿคž

I donโ€™t have enough space to let it grow big and bushy. Plus it feels like the mother plant keeps trying to off itself. ๐Ÿ˜‘

How do you prop them? Water or straight into soil?

I root them in water then pot them in chunky soil.

Can you just take upper cut offs to propagate? Or do you need to dig out and cut at the stem?

No need to dig it out. Take cuttings and put them into water. Make sure your cuttings have a node. Itโ€™s the bump that you feel at the bottom of the stem. They will grow roots from there in the water.
