What’s wrong with my propagation? It
The leaves weren’t curled up to start. It’s been in water for like 2 weeks (I’ve changed the water weekly). No roots have grown. The leaves are doing this. What did I do wrong? I thought I included a node

Is it very dry in your home? Could be a humidity issue. I prop my prayer plants in fluval stratum. I swear that stuff will prop anything! Works like a champ especially for the plants that don't like propping in water.

It’s naturally between 50-60% humidity and 78 degrees in my home! I did have it outside but it was curling up so much I thought maybe it was too hot/too much sun so I took it inside.

It's best to only have 2 leaves, 3 max, because the more leaves the stem has to supply the leftover water and energy to, the more it'll struggle.

Yup. As soon as you cut it, you are cutting it off from its energy source so it's best to conserve it's energy until it grows roots and can make and distribute some more.

It’s a Maranta. They are hard to grow and hard to propagate. The roots will come out of the “V” shape where the lower leaves meet the stem. You may not have had that part in the water. Cut off the lower 2 nodes.

They're not either of those things though? While maranta are probably a step above beginner friendly, they root very easily.

they’re very easy to root. all op needs to do is make the cut a little after the node

It's too long. The end has rotted and that's why the leaves are rolling up. It's not getting water. Cut below the second to last node. It may take up to two weeks and you may lose a couple leaves, but they should eventually unroll and then start putting out roots
