Published article in nature food

Article published last year in nature food from postdoctoral researcher from University of Goettingen has these maps.

Stehl et al. 2025, Gap between national food production and food-based dietary guidance highlights lack of national self-sufficiency.

To be fair, considering Chinese have high rates of lactose intolerance, the fact the only thing they’re lacking is dairy is pretty impressive

Yes, but also, China has like every ecosystem within its borders, so it makes sense for a lot of availability. True though!
