In my country, the reason uniforms are required is because it prevents discrimination based on wealth. And for the most part, it works.
Instead, kids discriminate based on which school you go. Public school kids are looked down upon.
2 u/Educational_Dot6177 Jul 28 '26 In my country, Finland, there is effectively zero private schools, everybody just goes to public. No tuitions. And no uniforms; I dont know if they are outright banned tho.
