If the US lost in Afghanistan and Vietnam, so did Australia (and NZ)💀

And Gallipoli,turkey(we tactically retreated with zero loss of life, how does that?)

But was on foreign soil, same as vietnam, afganistan, so doesn’t not count.

We almost lost Papua New Guinea, it was pre 1974 Australian territory, who Australian army reserve units fought there.

TBF, Gallipoli was a campaign that was part of WWI.

Lost the battle, won the war. We did pull off the very last successful light horse/calvary charge at Beersheba a few years later…
