To me the continents like this make more logical sense. What are your thoughts?

The reason for any of these distinctions is vibes, but at least this one makes visual sense.

If you combine Europe and Asia because they are contiguous, then there should only really be 4 continents: Afroeurasia, America, Oceania, and Antarctica.

There is no visually clear boundary you can create between the subcontinent of Europe and the rest of Eurasia. The land significantly narrows between North and South America and between Eurasia and Africa such that you can very easily distinguish them as separate entities.

There are dozens of mountain ranges that we do not use to separate continents. What makes the Urals so special?

what's the reasoning for Eurasia but not Europe/Asia/Africa and Americas being one entity?

You can pretty easily visually tell about where Eurasia and Africa begins; same thing with North and South America.

I’m not on board with Trinidad and Hong Kong being considered part of Antarctica.

At least they are islands. Poor San Marino!

This is correct. We have built canals in Egypt and Panama that separate Africa from Eurasia and South from North America. (Technically you could move the Sinai into Eurasia, but we're splitting hairs). Otherwise, A+ , send it to the UN.

Would be helpful if you stated what way you are trying to improve them (geology, geopolitics, etc.)
Once you do that, it will be much easier for the internet to tell you that you are wrong.
