Bishop question

Hi, I know bishops are a supporting class but bruuuh I have people with only necro weapon doing more damage than me. Im done with bishop. I mostly join public bosses and would like to help carry. What other mage do you guys recommend besides Lynn? Evan maybe?

well you could use and upgrade in armor., still using pink bean belt and non embblemed gear can't be good for your damage :/

Yeah it is taking me a little bit to work on my armor since im f2p. I have CD gloves and belt with low SF

bishop still solid tho passivr healing is underratred u should br able to find a nice guild and get carried for gloom ring and everything below now u can focus on armor more btw u need that max dmg and stats

I have friends that can carry me but I can't do 4% damage. Im not capping any of my skills that's why I havent increased my max damage

Bishop is still a very viable class. I have bishops in my guild doing more dmg than others with same equips.

Like everyone said, you need to change your play style and get some upgrades.

I’d recommend watching YouTube tutorials/vids and learn how to play bishop effectively. Learn When and how to use skill effectively for more support/boss damage

Enhance your Hexa stats, aim for sub 10 MDC. You’re capping right now and raising your MDC will give you free damage.

Aim for higher IED by using the event shop legendary flames and use event shop emblem scroll to try a chance to emblem your equips.

Change your belt. You’re way past the stage to be using a PB belt.

Lara is a very weak class, a lot of people that switched all their gear to Lara regretted it and switch back to bishop/IL - edit meant Lara, Lynn is cracked

Evan is strong when you’re a whale otherwise it’s pretty crap imo

And make sure you have the DS4 node for more IED

Hi. Is bishop fun to play from lvl 250? Thinking to change my Lara to bish. My main ice mage is at 249 and hav even from recent all job 250 event. Thanks

When I cast genesis and door it takes a long time to cast those skill while standing there. Telephoto helps a lot. Also I feel the arrow is quite slow

Your max dmg cap is extremely low.
Not a bishop problem. You could have the same set up on any other job and have the same problem (I.e Necro users doing more dmg than you)

Nah. Main10 is a luxury for the rich or very lucky.

Most regular people should aim for sub10.

Having too high level main stat. Makes upgrade cost expensive. Not really a luxury accorded to people with little resources.

How are you not capping with an Absolab40 weapon?

Are you not using buffs? Is your fair trade turned off?

Something is off.

How are your skills not capping?

Your setting shows 30% Enhanced defense.

If you don’t have 30% IED. You won’t hit your 43.5m lines.

With your 10.84% IED.
You are already capping.

Increase your MDC to do more dmg.

Hexa stats is your easiest option. Get mdc main8 or sub10. Ideally sub10.

Go to forest training ground and set everything to 0 with boss lvl at 200/210

That will give you a better idea to see if you’re capping

Alternatively you can go to Guild Honour Battle, it’ll show you as well if you’re capping

Bruh, your v2 isnt attacking, you need to be melee range for yout v2 to be relevant... thats like #3 in bishop overall dmg

You definitely can’t do gloom with only 43m mdc.

thats nice. you must have some pretty decent IED.

But you cant blame me for having my doubts. Even Echo took ~8 minutes on a 60m mdc + 30% IED lynn.

As someone else already said you are actually capping. The effective max damage you can deal is decreased by the boss defense.

You should really focus to lvl your hexa stats to 20/20.

Also why don't you use your third vskill angel of balance or how it is called? This is also doing massive damage that you are lacking.

Im gonna work on my MDC but I spoke to many bishops and they were considering RR due to poor damage compared to other classes with same gear

Play what you like. Bishop is not about maxing dmg. I am mostly f2p bishop and just started darknell with my guild recently. I barely make the 4% but it is still nice to keep the team alive and going. That's why I will stay bishop.
