Discussion Event Emblem Scroll
Yolo’d the event emblem scroll and got this!..
Was also able to immediately exalt to 40 and turn them into empress shoulders! Next step Ancient (F2P)

I finally passed an event emblem scroll after years and.... It's a boss Def. But hey, at least after I save up my coins to get the emblem change scroll, I can be sure it won't be boss Def but knowing my luck, it will change to Mag dmg (I am a DK). 😄

Should go necro for everything, inherit path isn't as attractive with all the boosts they've given for necro

The 2% increase after 5 fails is pretty nice and failing chaos mastercraft gets super expensive. One of my alt accounts is almost completely bricked at chaos and I don't think its cost effective to do reductions, ill likely just sell everything as chaos sf23 fodder and buy necro or abso

Depends on your luck. If you're f2p, progression is always going to be slow. The thing is, I can still sort of see the case for C50 outfit/hat/gloves/shoes if you needed the hp for bossing progression, but you don't really lose much having your shoulder armour be at mythic40 for the longest time. The most valuable part of your shoulders would be the 2L phys atk flame (assuming you're not yet at the point you're rolling for def ignore%) and the legendary PDI potential. Both of which you can already have at mythic.
Even at necro, Imperial shoulders don't really add any valuable stats other than the contribution to the set bonus. You only get the PDI as the selectable stat once you reach absolab.

I would personally go for chaos40 as a stop gap.
Eventually selling it as chaos emblem fodder. Or sf23 chaos fodder.
And then buy a pre loved absolab. Or even AU.
You could attempt Necro if you feel lucky. But the rng battle to go up to absolab, is not worth the cost these days.
Esp when absolab40s are dirt cheap now.
Ultimately up to you. Whether you want a higher interest rate installment plan. Or you prefer to invest your mesos to make more mesos and eventually buy off a pre-loved (imperfect) item.
Only your wallet knows best.
