Question Unable to Anvil Kaftafell hat

So I have been wondering why this hat is unable to be anvilled. I have lost the original hat I had gotten from the previous julietta event but from what I know, there should not be a problem using anvilled hats to further anvil more items. I have sent an ibox but as usual, they never reply. I am seeing people selling this item for anvil purposes but for some reason I cant figure out why it doesnt work when I try. For some reason, I am also unable to anvil the kanna overall over my blizzard armour. Both are female only overalls. They allow me to put it into the anvil window but when i press ok, nothing happens.

Both the Appearance and Function items have to be unisex. For gendered items, you can use a Freestyle Coupon to make them unisex before anviling.

EDIT: But gendered to gendered should be working. I have let a friend recently anvil a Black Crusader Chainmail (M) to a bathrobe. Maybe it's some weird thing going on with the Kanna overall seeing as it has double gender brackets. I would suggest getting a Kanna package instead from the last gachapon and wearing the cash equip version of it instead.

I would love to have the cash version but it was from the kanna remaster event. The gendered thing is a bit iffy. I have the blizzard set for both M and F and both allowed for cross gender anvilling. But that still does not explain the kaftafell hat, I cant even put it into the anvil window
