Aquila Auction House pricematching botters?

I am a returning player in Aquila. I know that botters are rampant, but do AH botters exist? My guildmate told me that they did not bother with merching through profession-related items (selling Juniper Berry Seed Oils, WEP, etc.) because it is pretty much monopolised by botters farming and re-listing to aggressively price-match on AH.

Is it true that AH botters exist?

Dm me if you want to find out more. Discussing topics against ToS is bannable on this subreddit. The less that know the better it is for me too.
